SOFTWARE DEVELOPER · MIDLANDS, UK
Applications, integrations and developer tools.
I'm a Midlands-based software developer. Most of my professional work involves C# and .NET, building applications and integrations in the pensions industry. Outside of work, I enjoy experimenting with different languages and technologies, depending on what I'm trying to build.
My personal projects usually start with something I want to use, a problem I'd like to solve, or simply something I'm curious about. I enjoy exploring an idea and seeing how far I can take it, although new ideas do have a nasty habit of appearing faster than I can finish the previous ones.
I particularly enjoy the problem-solving side of development, whether that's figuring out why something isn't working, finding a better approach, or turning a complicated process into something that's easier to use and understand.
Projects

EV Nerd
An Android app for tracking EV charging sessions that grew into a local-first system with offline synchronisation, Polestar integration and time-of-use charging calculations.
Dataflow Debugger
A browser-based editor and debugger for Azure Data Factory Mapping Data Flows, with local execution, visual transformation explanations and no backend required.
Skyjo Strategy Challenge
A browser-based coding challenge made as an office enrichment activity, where you can write C# strategies, compile them locally and benchmark them against other players over thousands of simulated games.
