Closely based off a game I played in my childhood. I originally started this project for my Games Developement module in my Undergraduate Degree where I achieved a 99% with Star Miner. I chose to recreate Star Miner from a feeling of nostalgia and a want to play the game I once enjoyed, unfortunately the original game is no longer playable on current systems so in order for me to play it I had to recreate it.
Over the years since initially created this game I have added and improved it. I have added new mechanics, new animations and improved on the performance of the game. My ability to create pixel art and animations has improved significantly from working on this project.
